"Greek Gyro meets Latin Flavors!"Part of the Cooler of Goodies provided by Boss man are Ground Beef. I had lunch at the Olive Oil Greek Restaurant with one of my oldest Friends, Teri, that afternoon. Which BTW is amazing Greek food and Best Customer Service I have ever experienced. Our main Server checked on us frequently and the other Server in the next section did as well and to top it off, the Manager had time to come visit with during their busy lunch time.
Back to the real point of this post. With all the Beef in the cooler and a Freezer full of other foods, I had to think quick on what to Create next. After being inspired by the Delicious Gyro I had for lunch that afternoon, I decided to take a stab at making Gyros...with a note of Latin.
I had seasoned the meat that night to let all the flavors fuse into the meat.
The next day, I could not find the right Flatbread anywhere for the Gyros and the restaurants in the area would sell to me at $1 a piece and I needed about 3 dozens so I can bring to the office and for my friends that I was going to have over for dinner. That forced me to research online to find out how Flatbread was made.
I call this my Gyro Station where you build your own Gyros. From Left to Right: I think this was either a Potato or Pasta Salad I threw together last minute, The Gyro Meat, (above is the Tzatziki sauce) and the HomeMade Flatbread.
After Dinner, My friend Vanessa said she wanted dessert so there I go again to see what I had in the Kitchen. All I found were Apples! After ten minutes of roaming around in the Kitchen, it was decided I would make Apple Pie Crepes!
There we go...Apple Pie Crepes!
